I am trying and trying, but cannot figure out.
I make this kind of CC like that:
I choose this template, put in the words and than put in the clues where is blank place. But there is a problem: since some words starts at the top or on the left, there is no place for clues. And in case I would like to import a picture, 2 x 2 squares big, there is problem also.
Please, be very patient and tell me step by step what to do. The HELP is not useful for me (perheaps the language or computer language) _________________ Best regards, Natasa |

For clues in squares puzzles it is up to you to place the squares so that each word has a clue. E.g. place the clue squares carefully first, then fill in with words.
You can insert pictures - see the option on the Edit menu. |

[quote="Antony Lewis"]For clues in squares puzzles it is up to you to place the squares so that each word has a clue. E.g. place the clue squares carefully first, then fill in with words.
Does that mean that I have to put one word after other, or can create a puzzle with words, already written?
Here is step by step of my procedure:
I have words: car robot open brick none etc.. and want to make a puzzle with clues in squares.
I open New, select Clues in squares, click Custom size, then Desin the grid myself and then click on Create Vocabulary puzzle, put the words in Use Words and then press the button Build puzzle. Than press Accept and....
WHAT NOW? I cannot put clues wherever I want, because some of the words are quite on the edge and there is no place for clue.
So, if the procedure is different, please tell me, just as I told you now.
THANK YOU, _________________ Best regards, Natasa |

| The Create Vocabulary Puzzle feature is designed for making freeform puzzles with normal clues, not clues in squares puzzles. You'd need to use a standard grid, or design a new grid pattern carefully yourself. |
