I bought the OED option. Double-clicked InstODE.exe and it told me that I had to install WordWeb. I did this (as administrator) and then ranInstODE.exe again and it worked. But what happened? How can I see evidence that somebody is using the OED? And where did it put the OED on my hard-drive? How can I uninstall the OED? Is the OED used for filling or only for clues?

The ODE is an add-on dictionary for WordWeb, it appears on a separate tab.
You can view WordWeb separately, or from Crossword Compiler (e.g. the button in the clue editor).
You can also use the word list from Crossword Compiler (if installed should be visible in the Word List Manager). |
